ART-Full Alumni Placer High Reunion Show Submission Guidelines

  • Show Dates are Sunday, August 2 through Sunday, August 16, 2015.
  • This show is open ONLY to Placer High School Alumni.
  • The exhibit will be located at the General Gomez ARTS and Event Center, 808 Lincoln Way in Auburn, California
  • Applications are due online no later than Monday July 20, 2015.
  • Artwork submitted for consideration must be accompanied by a non-refundable entry fee of $10.
  • Artwork submissions will be by digital image. Attach within application or mail/carry in photograph of the piece. No actual artwork will be accepted for consideration.
  • This show is open to all 2-D and 3-D media.
  • A collection of jewelry may be submitted as one artwork, provided it can be displayed within a 15″ glass cube.
  • The show will be publicized through local media, online and direct e-mail; is free and open to the public; and will have an opening reception on Thursday August 6 from 5 – 9 pm.
  • Artists are requested to submit a 250 word (maximum length) personal bio including interests or facts about the piece of art with the application for use in publicity.
  • Artwork is not required to be for sale and can be marked “for display only.”
  • The art show committee has discretion to contact artist and/or remove art if it is deemed vulgar or inappropriate for public display.
  • By entering, artist gives permission for images submitted to be used by General Gomez, associated art and alumni groups, for publicity purposes.
  • Accepted work must be hand-delivered to the General Gomez ARTS and Event Center, 808 Lincoln Way, Auburn, CA between 2 and 8 pm on Friday, July 31.
  • All flat artwork must be clean, properly framed or gallery wrap and wired (“saw tooth” hangers are not acceptable) and ready to hang. Entry fee refunds will not be given for artwork which cannot be hung.
  • The show will be curated at the sole discretion of the Art Hanging Committee.
  • The show will be part of the Reunion Festivities in Auburn August 7-9 2015.
  • Artwork must be picked up on Monday, August 17,  between 10 am and 2 pm at 808 Lincoln Way in Auburn, CA.
